How to Measure
To ensure a perfect fit, please follow our guidelines carefully. You don't necessarily need a professional tailor, but if you do use one, please ask them to read our guidelines as seamstresses are sometimes trained to take measurements differently.
- Use the right tool: Always use a soft fabric measuring tape, not a metal construction tape or ruler.
- Keep it natural: Measure close to your skin without wearing thick clothing that could skew the results.
- Leave room for comfort: We recommend adding 0.25 to 0.5 inches to your bust, waist, and hip measurements for breathing room.
- Do not size down: Please do not decrease your measurements even if you are planning to lose weight.

Important Measurement Rules
Note: Height & Hollow to Floor
Never alter your Height or Hollow-to-Floor measurements to make the dress shorter or longer. These measurements determine the proportion of the entire dress. Altering them may cause the waistline of your dress to move up to your neck.
Note: Please convert your height to inches correctly. For example, if you are 5'6", your height is 66 inches (5x12 + 6), NOT 56 inches.

- Do not substitute sizes: Because custom dresses are made specifically to your body and are non-returnable, never order a custom size by submitting the measurements of a standard size chart. Always use your real-time body measurements.
- Custom Sizing vs. Custom Design: Custom sizing tailors the dress to your exact measurements, but it cannot change the fundamental design or proportions of the dress.
- Waistline concerns: If you are concerned about where the waistline will hit your torso, styles with an empire waistline may be a safer choice.
